- You will either type your three paragraph persuasive essay about celebrity activism, or prepare to participate in a panel discussion on this topic on Wed. Sept. 29th.

Thurs. Sept. 23/10 - Media / Documentary
- Silent reading 20 minutes / crossword completion.
- Read the article "Hollywood Stars Rush To Do Their Bit."
- Complete the 3 paragraph essay outline (decide whether you will complete a typed essay or prepare to participate in a panel discussion in class on Wednesday).

- Write three (3) different thesis statements related to the following question:

View and discuss the video "The Bonoization of Aid."
Complete these two tasks in the computer lab:
- **Review the media representation piece from the United Nations Refugee Agency. Write point form responses on the deconstructing media handout.
- **Visit Look to the Stars and complete the celebrity information chart for any five people.
**Both tasks due as homework for Fri., Sept. 24th's class.
Mon. Sept. 20/10: Media and Fraud
