-As I'm away, just select your cartoon using the instructions below. Don't worry about uploading or posting the cartoon on DotSub.com today. Just view your cartoon and start writing your short story and dialogue ideas for the cartoon on an OpenOffice document (save it). I'll show you how to upload and caption the project when I get back.

In the computer lab:
-Select a public domain silent cartoon (approx. 3 to 8 min. long) to caption as a short story. -Preview cartoons at these Archive.org links: Felix cartoons - Classic cartoons
- When you've found a cartoon for your project, bookmark the URL.
- Then upload the video to your computer desktop (right click on the ogg video file, then click "save link as." Select "desktop.")
- Register an account at DotSub.com
- Then "post a new video" and upload your saved cartoon video for captioning.
