- View the stage production of Act III of Macbeth (view 57:00 to 1:26:35 on the embedded video below).
- Complete questions for episode 5 and episode 6 summaries of Act III.




Thurs. Dec. 3

- Listen to the audio version of Act II of Macbeth.

- View the DVD "Characters of Macbeth."
- Continue work on the questions for episode 3 (Act II sc. 1-2) and episode 4 (Act II sc. 3-4)



Wed. Dec. 2

- View the DVD "Macbeth Basics."
- Continue work on the questions for episode 2 (Act I sc. 5-7) and episode 3.

Tues. Dec. 1
- View the DVD "What is dramatic tragedy?"
- Find out about the curse. Why is Macbeth often called the Scottish Play?


Mon. Nov. 30

- We will review the A&E biography, "Shakespeare: A Life of Drama."
- Complete the questions that accompany this video.
- Use your Oxford Press edition of Macbeth and start work on the Episode 1 questions.

  • It should be at least 20 lines
  • It should include text and photo or video imagery.

- Finish your cartoon short story and print a copy of the transcription for editing.

- Read The Lonely Land by A. J. M. Smith
- Complete the writing tasks for this poem on the poetry unit sheet (answer on a separate sheet of paper).

Term one ends on Nov. 10th.
Work toward completion of all term one assignments.
