Complete these two tasks in the computer lab:

1.  **Review the media representation piece from the United Nations Refugee Agency. Write point form responses on the deconstructing media handout (page 9)
2. **Visit Look to the Stars and complete the celebrity information chart (page 8) for any five people.

The library lab is booked today.
- Students who need time to finish essays will continue writing at the round tables at the back of the lab.
- Use lab time to type your annotated bibliography. If you don't complete your bibliography typing, it should be completed at home.

In-class essay today. The topic is"Three Places in Western Canada I'd Like To Visit."
- You will have all class to write this five paragraph informal style personal essay.

Mon. Feb. 16, 2015

- The lab is booked for this class. We will be participating in a plagiarism and citation session.
- Any remaining time in the library lab should be used for self-directed reading and signing out books.
- Try the Cite It Right activity to learn more and test your knowledge of citation.
