Private Living

Give up civilized life for a cave
Digital secrets can’t be told
Prepare for your social life deep freeze
Get used to your time in the cold

Nothing online for people to save
On Ebay you’ll never be sold
“I’m off the grid” now you can wheeze
“Life’s filled with cavernous mold !”

Instead of a Tweet you’ll give ‘em a wave
‘cause e-mail is even too bold
ID protection will be a real breeze
Hacking thieves can’t ever take hold

If it’s privacy you frequently crave
Guess it’s a sign that you’re old
Disconnected life’s as fun as you please

- Review and write the open book quiz on "The Late Man."
- The lab is booked for work on the poetry blogging assignment today.
- In the computer lab, set up your blog at Blogger.com (sign in with your Google Docs username and password. Do not make a new account). You can customize your blog's privacy and comment moderation settings through your Blogger Dashboard "settings" and "comments" tabs.
- Follow the instructions for assignment 1 on the poetry blogging assignment.

- Review  by viewing the The Painted Door DVD (see below) 

- Wednesday - review The Painted Door by discussing the questions.
- Open book quiz on "The Painted Door"
- Then, read "The Late Man" on p. 98. Open book 14 mark quiz on Thursday.
